This piece originated as a photograph of Ted Williams when he was 26 years old. It was taken early in the season, as evidenced by the woolen turtleneck under his jersey. Not a fan of photographers, Ted Williams agreed to pose this day because he was at friendly Tiger Stadium with its short porch in right field. "The young Ted Williams" is a 22" x 16" giclee that is stretched, tacked, varnished and signed by the artist.
