The
Workplace Essential Skills 25-part series demonstrates to
adolescents and adults the appropriate use of basic skills
to find a job and to keep it. The series presents the basic
employment strategies, communication, literacy, and math
skills needed to find a first job or to get a better one.
Topics include preparing resumes, participating in job interviews,
communicating effectively with co-workers and supervisors,
applying mathematical concepts in the workplace, and reading
for a purpose.
